John Marshall of the UK reports “…… Saturday 6th September is the date for your diary. The Sherburn Aeroclub based in Yorkshire, UK, is holding what promises to be a very special occasion, bringing together for the first time on our premises a show for both real and virtual pilots……”.
“…….. It all started earlier this year when the Sherburn Flight Simulator User Group was formed. They meet on the first Saturday of every month and members bring along their own systems for people to view and use during the day. The success of this group which now has over 50 members and growing has helped in the planning of this event.
The innaugural FS Show took place back in 2006 when John Crossland the event organiser brought together the right blend and balance to provide all with a very entertaining day. This year however, we have expanded the show and now for the first time we are opening a fully working hangar to hold the event. Top names from around the flight simulation world will be there to show their latest products from software to hardware. Trial flights in some of the clubs aircraft will also be available throughout the day weather permitting.
A great day out for all the family, Sherburn Flight Simulation Show 2008 where the real world meets the virtual world, coming together as one!…..”.
