Fligth Illusion from the Netherlands has released yet another nice instrument for their Boeing series. “…. This set includes two Boeing style chronometers for use on Boeing Flight decks (for PIC and PNF). The clocks works with our propriety software and are easily configurable. They are able to handle time and date, Z.T., E.T., chronometer counting or de-counting. The clocks can run on FS time or on real time, depending on how it is set up. The connection to the computer runs through our interface (GSA-55). The clock can also work as a standalone unit, without interfacing with our GSA-55, but will lack any link with Flight Simulator…..”.

Just Flight is now selling Captain Sim’s C-130 Hercules in a box. Captain Sim re-did their FS2004 model and built an FSX model out of it, which now is also sold on a CD. Another (new) Aerosoft title is Paderborn-Lippstadt. “……. Visit the home base airport of Aerosoft and location of the German Flight Simulation Conference in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. The airport Paderborn/Lippstadt has been developed using the latest FSX technologies and therefore comes in an extreme level of detail. A must-have for all Aerosoft fans and friends of high-end graphics…..”. On the Aerosoft forums we can also read that they intend to make an FS2004 version of it later, in response to much customer ‘animosity’.

Aerosoft’s associates apparently have been busy. Today they released quite a number of products on simMarket. Let’s start with two boxes: German Airports 2 X and Horizon’s VFR Netherlands X have been poured on CD’s and are now available as boxed versions. If you don’t have them yet, and you don’t like making backup CD’s yourself, then this is a good alternative.
