Tags: Accent'Sim, Neil Birch, Northern Microlights, simMarket Accent’Sim today released Northern Microlights for FSX on simMarket. “…. Northern Microlights is a ‘first’ by author Neil Birch, adding some 40 ‘farm fields’ to the northern part of England. He built a lot of additional objects to give the area a more local look and feel. The farm strips are extensively documented and fun to find. The product works best together with Horizon Simulation’s (photo) VFR Scenery, but can be used without it too. Hours of fun trying to locate the small fields with their typical English ‘life’on it!….”. Find Northern Microlights here at simMarket. |

Tags: Alaska, FSAddon.com, Sandmann, simMarket, Tongass Fjords X, Womack …. is now released after more than two years of development: Tongass Fjords X by Holger Sandmann and Bill Womack! “…. Tongass Fjords X returns Alaska back to the flightsimmers, after Microsoft missed a beat in that particular area of the world. Like in their FS2004 version, Sandman and Womack have managed to bring an unprecendented level of realism and immersion into the area. With Tongass Fjords X there are also quite a few new technologies introduced, like partial phototextures to render realistic glaciers (over 250 hand-made ones to be precise!), automatic freezing of water in the winter, and much more. Check out some comparison shots here. But that’s not all. FSAddon promised a discount for existing customers. Well, we’ve done even better. We’re giving a discount to ALL (future) customers and have lowered the price from a planned Euro 34 to a very ‘crisis-friendly’ price of only Euro 27,95!! |

The scenery features exact coastlines, mesh and completely new designed airports as well as photorealistic ground images covering the complete island in a breathtaking resolution of 0,5m/pixel be it day or night in FSX. Also included is AESLite, bringing dynamic apron traffic as well as traffic to the surroundings of the airport. Both island airports, “Son Bonet” LESB and the international airport of Palma LEPA have been modeled to the smallest of details with numerous objects, houses, etc. Safegate parking systems as well as highly detailed AFCAD and or AFX files for AI traffic make it a lively and highly realistic airport to fly to. This scenery is of course compatible with AES 2.0 in both FS2004 and FSX!…”. Also on simMarket, where else? |

Aerosoft have produced yet another few interesting titles for this Fatherday Weekend. African Airstrip Adventures is one of them. “….. African Airstrip Adventures (AAA) is a cross over product that merges an advanced mission mode with high definition scenery. This addon will bring you closer to the fascination, the wildlife and the beauty of Kenya/Africa. The African Airstrip Adventures take FSX to the adventure level. With this addon you can finally experience all the wildlife you expect to find in Africa. Although this is a Flight Simulator X addon, it is not meant to reproduce Kenya as it is. Lots of names and places are fictional, even if based on real places and objects. We wanted to fill the gap between the simulation and the gaming aspect of FSX. So while the flying is highly realistic your environment is created to suit the mission career mode and not in the first place to be realistic. It will never be unrealistic however!…”. Here on simMarket now, just in time for the weekend. |
