Bryan York of FS2Crew, developer of airline crew simulations for FSX and FS9, has two announcements. “……. Service Update 2 for the FSX Level-D 767 Edition is now available.  Update 2 corrects an issue with the Go-Around logic. And also FS2Crew is looking for more voice actors for its upcoming PMDG MD-11 Edition.  British, French, German, Spanish and American accents are desired.  Volunteers will receive a free copy of FS2Crew MD-11……”. The picture may say 4.0, but in a press release this morning, Captain Sim are pleased to announce that version 4.1 of their B757 pack for MS FSX is now available.

FSAddon.com has posted some news on it’s (new) website. One of the projects under development and almost ready to publish will surely attract a lot of attention from bush pilots and aficionados of Piper Cubs. The Turbo Piper (both FS2004 AND FSX) by Simon Smeiman is nearing completion. Curious? Of course you are. Head over to the FSAddon web site to look and read!

Christian Keil from Aerosoft reports that the first couple of southern German airports in the German Airports Series for FSX are now almost ready for release. If all goes well then next week would see a new release of the airports now upgraded to FSX SP2. You can read all about the features on the product page(s), but in addition to those there are now also environmental sounds included. See some screenshots of the North Bavarian fields in the Aerosoft forum here.

At long last some news from FSAddon.com. “….. we will be publishing work from a couple of new authors soon. Ron Jeffers has built a few ‘bush mission’ that we will bring in a pleasantly  priced package and Simon Smeiman from South Africa has built a little Piper Cub for FSX and FS2004. We hope to release them both in July. Apart from that work continues on Tongass Fjords and the Lysander Project. More news soon!…..”.

Ron Hamilton of Eaglesoft reports that their new Avionics Expansion Pack is now available for purchase from their web site. “…..The pack includes a whole range of instruments such as the Mid Continent 4300 ESAI, the Garmin GMA340HI AudioCenter, Garmin 106A VOR Heads 1 & 2 and more. There is a Bonus FS2004 Version included with FSX purchase!…..”.
